Easy M Week

This past week we learned about the letter "M", but we didn't do many fun activities. Services at church every night for the first part of the week made it hard to get prepared for the next day and made it had for the kids to get moving in the morning. So, we took it easy this week. Despite a slow school work week, we did have a few highlights... Mommy's number one highlight was when Asher and Malachi played together with the legos with no screaming or fighting for at least 15 minutes!!! Asher is usually breaking whatever Malachi is making and Malachi is usually having a heart attack in return. But not this day... :)
Counting teddy bears on our number line:
admiring and contemplating the graph we made with our teddy bears:
I don't know how well videos from my camera will work, but here are the kids reciting the verses we have been memorizing. God is so gracious to allow our children to begin to understand the truth in these passages... they have been talking to us and to each other about when they are being peacemakers and when they are not.
While Karis spent the day with Aunt Mel and Uncle Yancey, Malachi had work to do. Here he is hammering his new nails into a box,
and painting the box with his new paintroller.
Yummy, Yummy!! We met Uncle Yancey and Aunt Mel at Cracker Barrell for supper on Saturday while daddy was at a USM football Game.
Today we went to visit our friend Jordan Kabore' who had his tonsils and adniods taken out. We brought him hugs and a few little toys to cheer him up. He was a little out of it, but we got to say hello, at least.
That's all for this past week. Hopefully we will have a little more excitement next week. We are studying the letter K for Karis and we all know how exciting she is!

I didn't know you did all that fun stuff with the kids! Thats following Montessori stuff right? Very similar to what Cameron does at his school. Awesome stuff!
